Ettore is an Italian journalist who lives in Genoa. He has a degree in biotechnology and has worked for 12 years as a scientist in regenerative medicine. Ettore is also a teacher, a freelance journalist, and translator. He writes and volunteers for the Italian Red Cross and the Kurdish Red Crescent in Italy. As an activist, Ettore is a supporter of the Kurdistan liberation movement, a supporter of the democratic model in Rojava, and has written at length on the Kurdish cause.
